Nationally and locally Labour and the unions are working hard to protect and support anyone who needs it. Many of our SW Herts Labour members are helping out where they can with a variety of official and volunteer groups. If you cannot find what you are looking for below, please get in touch and our volunteer members  will do their best to help.

Voluntary Services

The best route to find local voluntary services is via Covid Mutual Aid. You can find your local group here.  Their principal aim is to support with errands, information distribution and emotional comfort.

DENS provides access to Food Banks and shelter in Dacorum.  There are also Food Banks at:

• Rickmansworth
• Watford.
• Croxley (Mondays 1pm to 3pm)
• South Oxhey (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Citizen’s Advice should be able to guide you to any others as well as guide you to other services.

If  you are self-isolating and would like to have a natter about politics or anything else we would love to hear from you.

Council Services

Hertfordshire County Council provides service updates and guidance.  Go to HertsHelp to let the Council know about someone who needs help.
