The Labour Party has various rules, policies, procedures and guidelines at all levels of the party.  The links below will take you to some relevant documents (for many you may need to sign in to the party online system available only to members).

Safeguarding
The CLPs are fully committed to, and apply, the Labour Party’s policy and guidelines for safeguarding children and adults at risk.  The CLP statement and further links to guidance can be found at the link above.

 Procedural rules (Standing Orders)
These are our local rules for day to day running of the constituency, they are updated and voted on by CLP members at the AGM (November) and approved by the region we belong to – Eastern.

Labour Party Rule Book
This is the formal rule book for the whole party.  These are amended each year according to changes agreed at the annual party conference and by other forums and committees representing members – for instance the National Policy Forum: https://policyforum.labour.org.uk/

Accounts
Our accounts are audited on annual basis.  From 2020 we are publishing them on-line.

Many of the Labour Party documents use acronyms that you may not be familiar with. This page may help.
