The composition of Dacorum Council is now:

• Liberal Democrats – 28 seats
• Conservatives – 18 seats
• Labour – 3 seats
• Independent – 2 seats

So, Labour’s best result for many years – we had no seats last time around – and perhaps the start of something bigger in the future. Congratulations to Pete Hannell in Bennetts End, Angela Mitchell in Gadebridge and Barbara Pesch in Adeyfield East.

The Tories have lost 1,061 councillors and 50 councils including Dacorum.

Labour is now the largest party in Local Government.
