Charlotte Smith

Charlotte Smith, Chair

I joined the Labour Party to help close the gap between Whitehall and the general population. I am a volunteer refugee caseworker and through this role I have encountered vast numbers of service users that have suffered great injustices at the hands of the current economy. I want to play an active role in a political party that fights for change, promoting forward thinking and collaborative working with Members.

I will campaign against all forms of cronyism where private companies capitalise on the rapid changes necessary.

David Laird

David Laird, Campaigns

As a lifelong Labour Supporter, I have always been an avid campaigner for social justice. I grew up in a family of NHS workers, and weekends would often be spent campaigning with my parents to stop the closure of community hospitals in the late 80s and early 90s. My own career began in an ex-mining community, teaching in a Junior School. More recently, I have worked all over the World as a British international school headteacher. Returning to the UK with my family, I am looking forward to campaigning to oust the Tories in South West Herts. If you can volunteer your time to support the Campaign Team, I’d love to hear from you.
